A charity event for our dearest residents of Pearl’s Hill Care Home in Chinatown Singapore

With all our volunteers and the staff of Pearl’s Hill Care Home.  Thank you all so very much for joining Pres and I in our Morning Stroll on Pearl’s Hill event and for spending time with our dearest residents on 27 May 2017.

Our Haircutting Team, spearheaded by Ms Irene Ong, our haircutting instructor back in 2013.  Thank you very much!

Our Dear Reflexology Team.  Many thanks to Master Lai and Ms Orifiel, who were our reflexology instructors in 2014.  Thank you both very much!

We started our charity event with some morning hand exercise.  Our volunteers helped porter and wheel our residents from their wards to the activity area.  Master Lai conducted the 保健手操 (Bao jian shou chao) for our residents.  Thank you, Master Lai!

With a few of our favourite residents at Pearl’s Hill Care Home who could not stop thanking us!  We thank you more for letting us spend time with you all last Saturday!  We will see you again very soon!

After our morning exercise, we proceeded with haircutting.  Our Haircutting Team in action!  Thank you very much for participating in our charity event!

Our friend Sir Jerome flew all the way from Manila PH just to join our Haircutting Team to participate in our charity event for our dear residents.  Thank you very much!  Mabuhay ka!

 

Our dear residents queued up for their haircut after their morning exercise and while waiting for their turn, a few of our volunteers who had set up their karaoke system entertained our dear residents!  Thank you so very much!

Our Karaoke King!  He has got such a beautiful voice!  Thank you very much for serenading us with your favourite songs!

Our Dear Reflexology Team decided to provide massage to our residents inside the residents’ wards so our dear residents would not have to get up from their beds and they could rest while enjoying their massage.  Many thanks to our Dear Reflexology Team for the wonderful efforts!

A million thanks to our volunteers who showed up with their donations for the Pearl’s Hill Care Home residents!  May your good hearts be blessed always!

Finally we can sit down and rest!  Tired but HAPPY for this chance to spend one Saturday with our dear dear uncles and aunties from Pearl’s Hill Care Home!  We will see you again real soon!
